I think that you would agree with me; I have been blessed with two of the finest associates any Orthodontist could ever want, my daughter, Dr. Melissa Bloome, and Dr. Joann Soh. As Houston Orthodontic Specialists has continued to grow, I have wanted to take in a partner to share in the day to day running of the practice as Dr. Melissa and Dr. Joann are associate employees involved with patient care and not owner partners. After my nationwide search, I found the perfect partner right here in West Houston, Dr. Vladimir Tabakman.
Dr. Tabakman has run his own orthodontic office for over seven years and has the experience, intelligence, leadership, personality, and skills to walk right in and be a viable productive partner. Dr. Joann, Dr. Melissa, Dr. Tabakman, and I will make up the Orthodontic Doctor Team, so we will continue to always have three Orthodontists everyday that we see patients.
Dr. Tabakman’s life experiences are a truly great American success story. He moved from Russia at age 15, barely speaking a word of English, and started right into Bellaire High School. He graduated from Bellaire High with honors, and also from the University of Houston, Suma Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree. He graduated from the University of Texas Dental Branch in San Antonio, again at the top of his class and then went to the prestigious University of Detroit Orthodontic Residency Program, where he received his Masters in Orthodontics.
Dr. Tabakman is involved with many Houston area schools and charities, including the Cancer Society and the Houston’s Children’s Charity. In addition to creating beautiful smiles, and engaging in philantrophic efforts, Dr. Tabakman enjoys spending time with his wife and baby girl Milania.
I am truly excited about this partnership and the new chapter in the life of Houston Orthodontic Specialists, which will help us to continue to grow and take care of your friends and family. I’m looking forward to all of you meeting Dr. Tabakman and welcoming him into the practice. I know you will like him, as much as I do.
